Most components are precut and routed, based on width and height specifications. Some styles of fence sections are even available preassembled in widths from 6 ft. to 8 ft. wide. Posts are secured into the ground with concrete footings just like an ordinary wooden fence. Rails are inserted into posts and pickets into rails. Of course, custom designed fences and gates are much more complex, depending upon the homeowner's requests.
